Hot lady Miranda Kerr's latest shoot for David Jones was set in South Australia's deserts and involved the young model and 15-person crew travelling more than 1500km in three weeks.
Drama struck when the shoot was shut down in the small town of Mt Ive for several days because of flooding.
However, it failed to dampen Kerr's love of the outback.
She said: "I love being home in Australia. We have such a beautiful country, so why not incorporate it with the beautiful designers we have as well."
Kerr will be in Melbourne on August 13 for the David Jones fashion launch. Casting for the launch took place in Melbourne during the week, with more than 300 hopefuls turning up.
