Cheryl Cole's marriage with husband Ashley Cole is on the rocks again, this time over his naked photographs which were sent to a topless model, Sonia Wild.
Cheryl scrapped plans to spend a romantic Valentine's Day with her straying hubby and went back to work instead. She also banned Ashley Cole from Tuesday night's Brit awards - the biggest night of her career so far.
Ashley Cole has admitted to taking nude pictures of himself on a mobile while staying with the England squad. But he explained that the unregistered pay-as-you-go phone was passed to a close friend, who in turn gave it to another friend. Somehow, the images were then sent to Sonia Wild, along with explicit text messages.
Well, that is quite a tale to spin and I am not surprised the "Girls Aloud" singer refuses to bite the bait. A source close to Cheryl Cole said: "The biggest question is whether she believes Ashley`s excuses over these photos. Trust is a huge thing for Cheryl and right now, it looks like she is back to square one with Ashley."
On the outside, Cheryl Cole always looks glamorous but deep down she is very faithful to the marriage. The same cannot be said of Ashley Cole.
This is not the first time the Chelsea footballer has gotten into trouble. Two years ago, hairdresser Aimee Walton claimed she had a one-night stand with Ashley Cole and that caused great embarrassment for Cheryl but the marriage was salvaged.
