Vanessa Hudgens is set to co-star in the sequel to Journey to the Center of the Earth. She'll play "a Pacific Islander who gets swept into the adventure."
Josh Hutcherson will also return for Journey 2: The Mysterious Island. Dwayne Johnson and Michael Caine will also appear. The story is loosely based on Jules Verne's novel The Mysterious Island.
